FAQs

How do the prints come?

All prints come in Limited Edition Giclee form; they are all signed individually by the artist and are limited to 250 prints worldwide. They are printed on the highest quality Hahnemuhle cotton rag fine art paper with certified archivability, using archival pigment inks (which are UV stable and offer a lifespan of well over one hundred years). They are mounted on white core mount board and packaged professionally in a plastic presentation sleeve. Artwork comes sized at 297 x 210 mm / 11.7 x 8.3 inches (A4) as standard, but different sizes are available on request (prices may vary).

How long will a commission take?

Commissions will normally take about four weeks, however that is dependent on the current workload. If you do need your drawing sooner just let me know and I will endeavour to do my best to meet your requirements.

How do I upload a photo for a commission?

Just send me an email with the photo attached, clearly stating your name & address. For the best results, photos should be taken in good sunlight (for interesting shadows and good contrast) and should be as high a resolution as possible. Please also bare in mind that the finished artwork can only be as good as the source photograph in terms of lighting and composition. If there are any specific requests, please make them known via email and I will do my best to meet your requirements.

How much do commissions cost?

The standard rate for a commission is £250 inc of postage. This is for either a graphite drawing or a pen & ink/watercolour painting 420 x 297mm / 16.5 x 11.7 inches (A3) mounted professionally and ready to frame. Bespoke alternatives are available on request (for example different sizes or mounted and framed) however prices may vary depending on your requirements
